Making your personal RSI prevention and rehabilitation plan
Desk Doctor applies the skill and knowledge of medical specialists using a process of clinical reasoning to make the best plan for you.
The Desk Doctor Assessment uses history taking, orthopedic tests and a range of motion tests to gather essential information regarding your muscle and joint health. Every potential answer within the Assessment has been carefully considered by a neurophysiologist, Dr. Russ Hornstein. Using his clinical reasoning, which has been built into the program, Desk Doctor compiles a set of finely tuned exercises that will directly address your needs. Any exercises that could cause irritation to a sensitive problem area are excluded from your plan. Your Assessment results will also identify issues that may need outside attention, for example where further testing or specialized treatment is required.
Your personal plan is generated from a library of 100 video guided exercises. Each exercise has a very specific purpose, perfectly matched to your condition. Desk Doctor monitors your work intensity and stress level, advising you when to take breaks and perform your prevention or rehabilitative exercises.
You may perform a re-assessment at any time to adjust your plan according to your changing needs. Once per month is recommended.
